Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will open its newest restaurant, Bella Italiana, on Dec. 13.
Located in the space Wild Earth Cucina Italiana currently sits, Bella Italiana will offer a more traditional Italian menu that features classic dishes. It will be open Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 10: 30 p.m.
"We are creating a more approachable concept to better serve our guests," said Don Sally, food and beverage director. "Bella Italiana will feature a broader and traditional menu that will appeal to our guests’ tastes, and that’s what’s most important to us."
Maggie Haller-Kuester has been named chef at Bella Italiana. Haller-Kuester has been with Potawatomi Hotel & Casino since May 2012, and was previously the sous chef of the Solstice Lounge. Prior to her arrival, she opened seven restaurants in Milwaukee including Wild Earth Cucina Italiana. Haller-Kuester earned her culinary training education at Waukesha County Technical College.
