Your guide to having a great summer is brought to you by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino and Peoples State Bank.

Brady Street will be bopping once again this summer as the annual Brady Street Festival will make its grand return after a two-year COVID-induced absence.

Running 11 a.m. until midnight on Saturday, July 30, the Brady Street Festival will once again fill the road between Van Buren and Farwell Avenues with all sorts of summer fun. This year's edition will feature loads of local vendors, delicious food and drink, a climbing wall courtesy of Adventure Rock, the high-flying Division MX Stunt Team, wrestling and more. Arguably the highlight, though, is the three live music and entertainment stages scattered across the festival: the West Stage, sponsored by Casamigos, WMSE and Milwaukee Record; the East Stage, sponsored by North Shore Bank; and the Center Stage, sponsored by Bud Light, Absolut and yours truly OnMilwaukee.

Matt Mueller Culture Editor

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
