All eyes and ears may be on Summerfest right now, but the live music and festivities will continue well beyond the Big Gig's big three weekends – including Brady Street Festival, which recently announced the lineup of music and entertainment coming to the bustling block party next month.

While the date may be a little different this year – hosted from noon until 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, a week earlier than its usual final Saturday of July spot – this year's summer celebration will bring the same good vibes and great entertainment to its Brady Street base found between Van Buren and Farwell. That'll include vendors of all varieties – from food, drinks, arts and crafts, and beyond – and, of course, a range of Milwaukee music spread across several stages throughout the day-long party.

Speaking of which, here are the lineups of Milwaukee acts coming to Brady Street Festival next month:

  • 9 p.m. – Brew City Belly Dancers

In addition to these three headliner stages, Brady Street Festival will also feature live music once again in and around Lilliput Records, found at 1669 N. Farwell Ave., as well as an Adventure Rock climbing wall and more interactive activities.

"This year's event is shaping up to be our best yet with an amazing roster of bands and activities that will appeal to music lovers of all ages," said Brady Street BID executive director Michael Sander, in a release. "We can't wait to welcome everyone to Brady Street for a day of celebration and community."

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
