Thursday will be a special day for Brewers fans, as the team begins just its fifth-ever journey into the postseason at home against either the Colorado Rockies or the Central Division runners-up. But even considering the extraordinary circumstances, it's just not a proper Brewers game without Bob Uecker on the call.

So join your fellow Brew Crew brethren at Turner Hall Ballroom on Thursday afternoon for a watch party – complete with the WTMJ play-by-play broadcast synced up to the game.

"Brewers fans want to hear the legendary Hall of Fame voice of Bob Uecker calling of the game," said Tom Langmyer, vice president and general manager of WTMJ and WKTI, as well as vice president, news/talk/sports for The E.W. Scripps Company, in a press release. "This will be the biggest watch party in Milwaukee."

"We can’t wait to hear Mr. Baseball calling October baseball with hundreds of Brewers fans hanging on his every word," said WTMJ Director of Programming and News Eric Brooks, in the release. "This is what the postseason is all about."

Alongside the game, projected on a massive movie screen, Turner Hall Ballroom will serve a full bar and tailgate food including burgers and brats in the newly renovated Tavern at Turner Hall.

First pitch on Thursday is at 4:07 p.m., with the doors opening at Turner Hall one hour before. And go Crew go!

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
