It’s almost time for Cedarburg’s 49th Annual Wine & Harvest Festival, a free, family oriented weekend event at the at the Cedar Creek Settlement, N70 W6340 Bridge Rd. in Historic Cedarburg.
This year’s festival will take place on Sept. 18-19 with hours on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with plenty of food, wine, live music and arts and crafts to enjoy.
Featured activities
During the fest, guests can enjoy award-winning Cedar Creek Winery wines by the glass or bottle (or pick up a case to enjoy at home. The winery will also host their popular Great Grape Stomp with both a kids’ stomp and adult stomp at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Food will be available at the Settlement’s Courtyard Grill, including tasty items from food trucks, as well as both a beverage and winery tent. Choices will also include Anvil Pub & Grille’s wraps, Cream & Crepe Café’s desserts and hand decorated cookies from Lakeside Cookie Company. In addition, Witte’s Farm Market will have a variety of fruits and vegetables and Jimmy Crack Kettle Corn will be stirring up batches of their delicious kettle corn.
Guests can also enjoy music from Milwaukee bands including Platinum, offering high energy danceable tunes on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. followed by Kevin Kennedy from 4 to 6 p.m.. Bobby Way & the Wayouts will also make an appearance on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Additional features will include the fun-filled Pumpkin Regatta, which will launch on the banks of Cedar Creek on Sunday at 2 p.m.; and an arts and crafts bazaar at Cedar Creek Marketplace featuring booths on Washington Avenue and in the Settlement courtyard featuring unique handmade and collectible items.
Guests can also enjoy the shops and restaurants at Cedar Creek Settlement, perusing antiques, toys, jewelry, clothing, gifts, food and specialty items.
