(Friday) in the park. It will definitely be the 4th of July.

The 2025 Summerfest lineup continues to roll out, and on Monday, the festival added another big name to the BMO Pavilion lineup. Rock legends Chicago are set to headline the BMO Pavilion during Summerfest on July 4th.

Known for their enduring success, Chicago has recorded 38 albums, including their recent live release, “Live at 55,”, which came out last month. With more than 100 million records sold, the band remains one of the longest-running and best-selling groups in music history. In 2016, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their first Summerfest appearance was in July of 1970, and they’ve played the BMO Pavilion as recently as 2019.

Summerfest Insiders can access a special presale beginning Thursday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to the public starting Friday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. via the Summerfest website and via Ticketmaster. All tickets include same-day admission to the festival.

Summerfest will return for three weekends in 2025, taking place from Thursday-Saturday on June 19-21, June 26-28, and July 3-5 of next year. Read more about that here.
