Chris Stapleton's "All-American Road Show" will make a stop at the world's largest music festival, as the country star today announced that the tour will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Tuesday, June 30 with special guest Sheryl Crow.

Stapleton is no stranger to the Big Gig's biggest stage; the "Tennessee Whiskey" singer previously co-headlined Summerfest in 2016 with soul band Alabama Shakes, before taking the Amp stage yet again the following year as the opening act for the late Tom Petty's final Milwaukee shows.

A prolific country songwriter, Stapleton took the stage himself as a solo act with his 2015 debut album, "Traveller." The album almost singlehandedly turned Stapleton into a star, earning him four Grammy nominations in 2016 – including Album of the Year – as well as two wins: Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance for the album's titular song. Since then, his old-school soulful yet rocking brand of country has continued to thrive, with both of his latest albums – "From a Room" parts one and two – nabbing critical praise and Grammy nominations, and his live show earning its way onto some of music's largest stages.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Summerfest box office and Ticketmaster.com. However, there will also be a presale for Stapleton Fan Club members starting on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m., as well as a Citi card members presale running Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, Feb. 6 at 10 p.m. For more information about either presale, visit Chris Stapleton's website or Citi Entertainment's website.

The jam band joins an increasingly crowded 2020 Big Gig lineup that now includes Justin Bieber opening up the festival on June 24, country star Luke Bryan on June 25, rock icons Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson on July 1, jam band legend Dave Matthews Band on July 2 and pop star Halsey on July 3. And that's just the beginning, so for more Summerfest announcements and updates, stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
