In January 2013, we told you about the new Colectivo set to open in the Third Ward.
Today, we noticed a new hand-painted mural in the alley adjacent to the St. Paul Ave. location and wanted to share.
In the spirit of much of the coffee roaster's art, it's vibrant and full of life. It's also the same design as seen on cafe gift cards and other items, like coffee mugs. See it in the photo above.
Colectivo's Scott Schwebel says the company will announce an opening day for the new cafe this week. I'm guessing it will be in the next few weeks – if not sooner – as the space looks nearly complete. Personally, I'm looking forward to it.
