Snuggle up with some holiday cheer as OnMilwaukee shares stories of everything merry and bright in the spirit of the season.
Brought to you by Noel Indoor Light Park & Christmas Market and MillerCoors.
re:Craft and Relic, one of Wisconsin's largest indoor handmade, vintage and upcycled events, will host the holiday edition of their festive market.
The alt-shopping extravaganza takes place Saturday, Nov. 13 and Sunday, Nov. 14 at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex, 6000 W. Ryan Rd. in Franklin. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with early 9 a.m. access on Saturday for VIP ticket holders.
Food and drink will be available for purchase. Masks are required.
Items for sale will include refinished furniture, jewelry, home decor, architectural salvage, clothing and accessories, natural bath and body products and more.
Each of the 150 vendors were juried on the quality of their products as well as the aesthetic of their booth display. These region-wide vendors spend the day before the event constructing elaborate displays resembling small-scale shops in their booth spaces.
"Our last in-person market was in January 2020, so we're very excited to be able to host another event," says Joshua Glidden, co-owner of re:Craft & Relic. "We know it's been a difficult time for many, including small businesses. We hope our event is a small piece in helping these businesses and in connecting people through shopping."
Tickets are available online at recraftandrelic.com. VIP tickets include early 9 a.m. entry and special deals on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Admission is $7 per person for general admission tickets. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is also free and carpooling is encouraged.
