The concept of this series is to experience a Milwaukee adventure on a single Jackson. Quite frankly, it's harder than we originally thought. Sure, there's free music and free admission on certain days to places, but you probably already know about those opportunities. Here, we wanna present cheap outing itineraries you might not have considered.  

Last week, we suggested the Domes and Thai food treats. This week, we're going back to the basics: beers and a burger. 

Stop 1: Sprecher Brewing Company, 701 W. Glendale Ave.
Hours: Wednesday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Stop 2: Solly's Grille, 4629 N. Port Washington Road
Hours: Wednesday-Saturday open until 7 p.m.

Just around the corner from Sprecher, is the iconic Solly's Grille where their famous butter burger is a mere $8. You can dress it up for a couple of bucks more with cheese and onions, but this bad boy is a delight as is. 

Another option - Fridays only
Swing by Solly's first and then hit Sprecher for the Tasting Experience and Music Bingo at 6 p.m. (Note: This is an extra $1).
