Ever since my co-host Julie and I decided we wanted to do a podcast together in the spring of 2019, we knew we'd someday record a show about adoption. This month, our dream topic finally comes to fruition in this episode, "Beyond DNA: personal stories of adoption."

Julie, who is African American, was adopted by a white family with five biological brothers in Green Bay. I adopted my son from Guatemala City in 2003. Hence, as an adoptive mom and a adoptee, this topic is, obviously, extremely near and dear to us. We also chat with two guests who are equally as passionate about adoption. Brian Fye lives in Indiana and has two adopted children, and Judy Hatch, a nurse living in Colorado, was adopted and recently met her biological siblings.

Listen to the episode here, and let us know what you think. Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe.

"Dandelions: A Podcast for Women," hosted by Molly Snyder and Julie Davidson, drops on the last Monday of every month and is available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher and TuneIn/Alexa. We'd love it if you subscribed, and maybe even write a review on iTunes.
