When Fiserv Forum first opened, it was heralded for the improved acoustics in the arena to become one of the noisiest venues in the NBA. This summer, the threshold of the venue's sound capabilities is sure to be tested, as hard rockers Deftones announced a Milwaukee date as part of the extension of their 2025 North American tour.
The band's expanded schedule includes a stop at Fiserv Forum on Saturday, August 30th. Deftones will be joined by Phantogram as direct support, along with The Barbarians of California.
This will mark the band’s first Milwaukee performance since 2022 and only its second since 2011. The band played Lollapalooza last year with an exceptionally visceral set on the main stage in Chicago, and have already been bringing that intensity to the tour, which began in February. While the band has not released an album since 2020’s "Ohms", they have confirmed that new material is in the works.
Fans can access the official Deftones ticket presale starting tomorrow (March 13th) at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. The presale runs through Sunday night at 11:59 p.m. General ticket sales open Monday, March 17th, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
There are tons of concerts happening throughout Milwaukee almost nightly, so stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more concert announcements and check out our monthly music guide to see where you can check out a gig tonight.
