If you’ve been craving the Asian-meets-Latin fusion-style cuisine served at Chef Ramses Alvarez’s concept Dia Bom, you’re in luck.
Alvarez has announced that he’ll be hosting a Dia Bom pop-up at his Riverfront restaurant Brisa Do Mar, 509 E. Erie St. Sunday, April 6 through Sunday, April 13. The pop-up will be available for both lunch and dinner service and will feature a menu of Dia Bom favorites.
That includes a selection of Kushiyaki, skewered grilled meats including beer-braised pork belly ($14), Jamaican jerk chicken ($12), Korean shortrib ($17), coconut red curry shrimp ($14) or togarashi crusted shishito peppers ($9).
Rice bowls will feature karaage (Japanese fried chicken) with kimchi rice and pickled cucumbers ($17); pork belly mole rojo with pickled onions, avocado and tomatoes ($18) and Korean shortrib with Kewpie mayo, pickled red cabbage and avocado ($21).
There will also be bao filled with chorizo ($9), jerk chicken ($9) and red curry chicken or shrimp ($10). Sides will include nopales kimchi ($4), togarashi rice ($5) and cholula crispy potatoes ($8). Churro bao with strawberries ($7) will be available for dessert.
The Dia Bom pop-up will be available for both lunch and dinner with hours Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The full Briso Do Mar menu will also be available.
