For the fifth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2011."
OnMilwaukee.com is many things. A full service digital media company, we publish this site daily and load it with content, listings, events, blogs, briefs and live looks at what’s happening right now in and around Milwaukee. We help you find what you need and when you need it.
This month, though, it’s Dining Month. So, I thought, I’d do a quick primer on all that’s available within OnMilwaukee.com’s Dining Section.
First, there’s regular stories, blogs and briefs from staffers like Bobby Tanzilo and Molly Snyder. Top notch articles from veteran Damien Jaques, amazing foodie content from Lori Fredrich, regular insider blogs from top chef Jason Gorman and, of course, all the openings, closings, coming soons (like this recent post), new menus and other exclusive stuff like our guides and "Milwaukee Talks" interviews with area restaurant owners and chefs.
But, wait. There’s more. This month, you’ll find all the "Best of" results highlighting the area’s greatest restaurants.
And, everyday, you can use our dining listings. Search by type, area and get direct links to your favorite spots. Find a restaurant that’s closed? Tell us. There are thousands of listings, so we need your help to keep us as up to date as possible.
Eating out today? Write a review with our Readers’ blogs or just post a talkback.
What else? Find dining events, like the annual Downtown Dining Week that we sponsor here and to get all our new dining content in one easy feed, subscribe via RSS or Twitter. Or, just use the search engine. Easy.

A life-long and passionate community leader and Milwaukeean, Jeff Sherman is a co-founder of OnMilwaukee.
He grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Marquette University, as a Warrior. He holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University, and is the founding president of Young Professionals of Milwaukee (YPM)/Fuel Milwaukee.
Early in his career, Sherman was one of youngest members of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, and currently is involved in numerous civic and community groups - including board positions at The Wisconsin Center District, Wisconsin Club and Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. He's honored to have been named to The Business Journal's "30 under 30" and Milwaukee Magazine's "35 under 35" lists.
He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.
He also thinks you should read OnMilwaukee each and every day.
