Join over 2,000 participants in costumes, representing families of runners and walkers as they "Move Their Feet So Others Can Eat" during the 10th Annual Festival Foods Drumstick Dash to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin on Thanksgiving morning at 8:30 a.m.
Free Parking is available through the Clock Tower Entrance.
2021 Festival Foods Drumstick Dash 5K & 2.5K Highlights:
- Pocketed Hoodie Sweatshirt for all adult participants (Kids 5-10 receive t-shirt)
- All Participants receive a 5-inch Pumpkin Pie at the finish line Provided by Festival Foods
- All in-person participants will receive a Milwaukee Brewers Bobblehead
- 5K and Half a Drumstick 2.5K options for runners or walkers
- Opportunity for photos with Bernie Brewer and Dash the Turkey
- Prizes awarded randomly to participants in costume
- The First 10 Participants to "Out Run Dash" will recieve a gift card from Performance Running Outfitters.
The Festival Foods Drumstick Dash has raised over $101,500.00 for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin over the years. For every $1 donated equals four meals, so an amazing 404,500+ meals have been provided to the community from funds raised by the Festival Foods Drumstick Dash.
"Thanksgiving Day is typically synonymous with platters of food and football but it is actually the single largest running day in the United States," said Vision Event Management President Jeff Graves. "We are proud to produce Milwaukee's Thanksgiving Tradition race and promote this event every year, which provides food to those who truly need it."
"This annual event has become a Thanksgiving family tradition in Milwaukee and provides thousands of meals to those in our community who are facing hunger, not just at the holidays but all year," said Patti Habeck, president of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, charitable partner of the Festival Foods Drumstick Dash 5K. "It also brings families together for a fun, outdoor activity to create great memories while giving back to those in need."
