It’s a chilly Monday in Milwaukee, but what better time to think about summer, and more importantly, Summerfest! Today, a pair of rock and roll legacy acts were added to the 2025 BMO Harris Pavilion lineup.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers are set to headline the BMO Pavilion on June 20th, during the first weekend of the festival. They’ll be joined by the classic rock group Foghat for a big double-headlining show.

This marks the 27th time George Thorogood has played in Milwaukee and the ninth time he has performed at Summerfest. His first appearance at the festival was in 1982, and he has played venues ranging from The Palms to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in his career.

Foghat will make their 20th appearance in Milwaukee with this show. This will be the group’s sixth time performing at Summerfest. Foghat first played in Milwaukee in 1973, but did not play a Summerfest gig until 2009.

Summerfest Insiders will have early access to tickets during a presale event on Thursday, January 16th, beginning at 10 a.m. Subscribers should look for the access code in their email that morning.

General ticket sales start on Friday, January 17th, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at Summerfest.com and through Ticketmaster. Each ticket includes same-day admission to the festival.
