German Fest announced this evening they were canceling the popular ethnic festival "with great sadness" according to a social media post.

The 3-day celebration of German culture was scheduled for July 30-Aug. 1, 2021. All pre-purchased tickets will be honored at German Fest 2022.

"The health and safety of our volunteers and patrons are our first priority. Thank you for understanding," reads the post.
