This December, the Riverside will bring audiences back to its Downtown venue with the magic of live music, the magic of the movies and, heck, why not some literal magic thanks to the latest installment of its Harry Potter film concert series, returning to Hogwarts with "The Order of the Phoenix" on Dec. 3-5.

As with the previous "Harry Potter" screening/symphony show collaborations, the concert event will feature the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra playing the actual film score for the big-screen book adaptation alongside the hit film itself, playing in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

"The Harry Potterfilm series is a once-in-a-lifetime cultural phenomenon that continues to delight millions of fans around the world," said Justin Freer, President of CineConcerts and Producer/Conductor of the Harry Potter film concert series, in a release. "It is with great pleasure that we bring fans for the first time ever an opportunity to experience the award-winning music scores played live by a symphony orchestra, all while the beloved film is simultaneously projected onto the big screen. This is truly an unforgettable event.”

Tickets for the "Order of the Phoenix" concert screening will go on sale beginning at Friday, May 14 at noon at the Pabst Theater Group's website or (414) 286-3663. And for more concert announcements and updates, stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
