The Realtors Home & Garden show is on its way. The annual event showcasing great ideas for updating your indoor and outdoor spaces will take place at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park, March 18-20 and 23-26.

In addition to home improvement and design ideas, some of Milwaukee’s best chefs will share tips and tricks on the Fresh Cookie Patio stage.  

Here’s a taste of what you can experience:

  • Get juiced. Maanaan Sabir from The Juice Kitchen will present on "Juicing to Live" on March 16 at  5 p.m.
  • What’s the fuss about fermentation? Get a lesson in how fermentation affects the foods we eat from Chef Miles Borgraef, formerly of Lake Park Bistro on March 18 at 6 p.m.
  • Turn down the heat with raw cooking. Learn to make easy delicious raw fare with Karen Gill of Down to Earth Chef on March 18 and 25 at 4 p.m.
  • Learn the secrets of great soup. Nick Burki of Coquette Cafe will demonstrate roasted parsnip soup with cardamom honey, green apple and pistachio on March 19 at 11 a.m.
  • Perfect your breadmaking. Gene Webb from North Shore Boulangerie will give a lesson in making brioche on March 19 at 3 p.m.
  • Take time for tea. Laura Stevens and Kristin Lorenz from Rishi Tea will discuss the biggest tea trends of 2016 on March 24 at 6 p.m.
  • Experience Africa. Yollande Deacon of Irie Zulu will show you how to make Jamaican cabbage stir fry on March 26 at 11 a.m.
  • How about sustainable sushi? Cristian Vega and Jason Morimoto from Screaming Tuna will be giving you pointers on how to make sushi with sustainable fishes on March 26 at 1 p.m.

Regular admission to the REALTORS Home & Garden Show is $8 for adults and free for active military personnel (with ID) and children 12 and under. Parking is available at State Fair Park for $5 per car. For more
