Did you spend last Sunday's incredible Packers victory over the Dallas Cowboys seething at having to listen to the incredibly biased (or not) Troy Aikman and Joe Buck hurl their obviously slanted bile at Green Bay, like arguing for holding penalties that weren't being called in its favor, praising Micah Hyde's performance and hailing Aaron Rodgers as one of the best quarterbacks in the game?

Well, you won't have to suffer again this weekend, as WTMJ 620 will present "The Hometown Call at Turner Hall" for Sunday's big NFC Championship Game against Atlanta.

Starting at 1 p.m., Turner Hall will host a free viewing party of the game that decides the conference's Super Bowl representative, complete with Packers-Falcons (kicking off at 2:05 p.m.) projected on a big movie screen and – thank the heavens – synced up to 620 WTMJ's radio play-by-play broadcast. 

"Hometown fans want to hear WTMJ Radio's Wayne Larrivee call of the game, while watching the Packers," said Tom Langmyer, vice president and general manager of WTMJ and WKTI and vice president of radio news, talk and sports programming for The E.W. Scripps Company, in a press release. "We're excited to throw the biggest watch party in town, synced to WTMJ Radio’s play-by-play with Wayne (Larrivee) and Larry McCarren."

"We look forward to Wayne throwing a 'Dagger' in front of hundreds of rabid Packers fans this Sunday," added Eric Brooks, WTMJ Director of News & Programming. 

In addition to keeping the dastardly Buck-Aikman duo away from your earholes, the event will also provide a full bar, burgers, brats and other tailgate foods for purchase, as well as give away Packers gear, Pabst Theater Group tickets and other prizes every time the Green and Gold score.
