AJ Bombers is preparing to fly through Oak Creek like p-nuts in a rocket ship, serving up their award-winning smash-style burgers, Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and more in a two weekend pop-up series on Jan. 22-23 and Jan. 29-30.
The pop-up is a collaboration bettween Hospitality Democracy and Valentine Cafe, 7981 S. 6th St. in Oak Creek, which aims to bring something new to the area while offering a fast, convenient solution for your weekend dinners.
Here’s what you can expect!
Smash it up with AJ Bombers
During the AJ Bombers pop-up on Jan. 8-9 and Jan. 15-16, guests can order up a variety of the venue's popular burgers, along wth a special family package with pick-up each night from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pre-ordering is recommended. Guests can place their orders on the Valentine Coffee website.
On the menu, guests will find options like the Classic AJ featuring two quarter-pound beef patties, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and bombers sauce served with kettle chips ($11.25); the Milwaukee with one quarter pound beef patty, Wisconsin colby cheese, applewood smoked bacon and Schlitz onions served with kettle chips ($10.50); and the cult favorite Barrie Burger featuring a quarter-pound beef patty, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon and crunchy peanut butter (also served with kettle chips for $9.75).
Not in the mood for a burger? Try AJ Bombers' take on a Nashville hot chicken sandwich with spicy chicken, "Nash sauce," mayonnaise, pickles and iceburg lettuce served with kettle chips ($10.50).
Meanwhile, a family-style "Build-Your-Own Burger Bar" is just $45 and features six smash patties topped with american cheese along with potato rolls, lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, pickles, Bombers sauce, ketchup, mustard and kettle chips.
For kids, there's also a grilled cheese option. The classic is stuffed with muenster cheese, cheddar cheese, Nueskie's bacon and Bombers sauce on panini bread. It comes with kettle chips for $9.
And yes, there will also be a way to indulge your sweet tooth with AJ Bombers' fudge brownies ($3 each). They are ooey-gooey and (bonus) gluten-free.
