Fans of Indulgence Chocolatiers will soon have a new West Side location to patronize.
That’s because this fall, the popular chocolatier will be moving its shop at 6538 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa to a new retail space at The Corners of Brookfield.
The new location will be the third for the popular chocolatier, which operates its production kitchen and tasting room in Walker’s Point and a satellite shop in Shorewood.
The Brookfield location will occupy a nearly 1200 square foot retail space located on High Street between Goddess & The Baker and Le Macaron. And customers can expect a robust selection of handcrafted artisan confections, including truffles, chocolate bars, hot cocoa mix and toffee.
“For a while now we’ve wanted to bring our chocolate to more of greater Milwaukee,” notes owner and chocolatier Julie Waterman. “Not only was the location of The Corners perfect, but it offers a vibrant community that we are thrilled to be a part of. We’re excited to welcome the Brookfield community and beyond into our store to experience our chocolate.”
Construction on the Brookfield location is slated to begin in September, with an opening to follow sometime in the fall.
Waterman says she’d hoped to keep the Wauwatosa location open during the transition to Brookfield; however, with a lack of staff to operate the North Avenue shop, she has chosen to close it, effective immediately. Some part-time staff have already departed to return to school, she says, and the remainder of employees will shift to positions at the Indulgence locations in Shorewood and Walker’s Point.

Julie and her team bring incredible craftsmanship, skill and passion to what they do, and we can’t wait to welcome them to the town center.”
