For the second time in less than a week, another superstar has been forced to postpone their Milwaukee tour stop.
On Tuesday night, Justin Timberlake announced via Instagram that he would be postponing six shows on his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour, including a planned date in Milwaukee for Monday night:
The news comes days after P!nk had to pull out of a Wednesday night show at Fiserv Forum due to "reasons beyond her control." The show has quickly been rescheduled, however, with JT now scheduled to rock all of our collective bodies on Saturday, February 22nd. The rescheduled run also includes stops in Chicago, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio.
If you’re a disappointed pop fan, though, fear not! The New Fashioned in Deer District will be keeping the party going on Wednesday night. In lieu of an actual concert, they’ll have a P!nk tribute party, offering themed snacks and cocktails, a dance party, a "see you soon" card and poster station, a best P!nk-inspired outfit contest, and free hyperbowling for P!nk (and Justin Timberlake) ticketholders.
“We understand how much these concerts meant to the fans, so we want to provide a space for them to celebrate together,” said Marla Poytinger, CEO of Bars & Recreation. “We’re thrilled to offer something special for those who were looking forward to the shows.”
The party takes place from 6-9 p.m. at The New Fashioned in the Deer District. The New Fashioned is also offering free three-hour parking at the Highland Garage (1030 N 6th St.) for all attendees – simply park and then validate upon entry at The New Fashioned.
While we can't wait for these pop shows to come back to Milwaukee, there's certainly a party to be had in Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
