Movie and TV fans are going to be feeling as green as shamrocks and dyed light beer next month, as Netflix recently revealed its hefty lineup of departures set for March.

It's a bird? It's a plane? No, that's the Man of Steel and company headed out of here, as the recent live-action DC superhero sagas of Wonder Woman, Shazam, Superman, Suicide Squads both great and godawful, and more will hang up their capes somewhere else after March. (Probably Max, since they're Warner Bros. productions – but who knows what WB will do these days. Maybe they'll drop them into a volcano for a tax write-off or something.) Unfortunately, John Wick's stay at the Continental of streaming services has come to a close as well, as the dog-avenging assassin's first three movies will roll down the world's longest flight of stairs and right off Netflix. There's only one correct reaction to terrible news like this:

As for those looking for more awards than action, more heady drama than headshots, get to watching the acclaimed Oscar nominees "Lady Bird" – just as director Greta Gerwig's latest, "Barbie," takes its swing at Best Picture – "Carol" and "Jackie Brown" before they're played off the Netflix stage by some overly loud and intrusive music. And if all those serious awards movies past and present have put in the mood for a laugh, check out the classic cozy comedies "It's Complicated," "Meet the Parents" and "My Best Friend's Wedding" before they're gone too.

That's only a few of the quality movies and shows bailing the Big Red Streaming Monolith next month. (I didn't even get to the fact that Netflix is losing "Community" in March, more evidence that we're living in The Darkest Timeline.) Here's the full list of stuff you'll want to watch before it's gone – probably off to some other streaming service that you unsubscribed from at the start of the year to save some money and after all you only watched it two or three times anyways.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
