As the sun began to set on the final day of Lollapalooza 2023, the energy in Grant Park reached a fever pitch. Sunday's lineup promised another diverse array of performances, from rising stars to rock legends, ensuring a spectacular end to the festival.

Rapper A Boogie Wit da Hoodie took the T-Mobile stage by storm, heating up the atmosphere and setting the tone for the grand finale. Fresh from his recent performance at the AmFam Amp at Summerfest, A Boogie delivered a high-energy set – of course rocking a signature hoodie on the chilly Chicago day. 

2. Will Ferrell Chad Smith

Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers showcased his drumming prowess all throughout the band’s epic headlining set. As he pounded the drums with unrelenting energy, it was impossible not to think of his doppelganger, Will Ferrell.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bass guitarist Flea defied gravity with a high-flying jump in this shot. Much like his namesake insect, Flea leapt across the stage with the boundless energy and enthusiasm that have become his signature.

Lead singer Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers couldn't contain his infectious energy, sticking his tongue out playfully to the roaring crowd at the T-Mobile stage. His boundless enthusiasm and undeniable charisma electrified the audience on Sunday night. 

6. Lil Yachty torments Lana Del Rey’s loyal fans

Lil Yachty made a triumphant return to Lollapalooza after a five-year hiatus, causing waves of excitement among his devoted fans. His energetic set ignited a moshing frenzy, creating an interesting contrast with Lana Del Rey's fans, who had been holding their spots all day. Lil Yachty's explosive performance was a disruptive force in the best way possible. 

7. No excuses

Closing out Lollapalooza 2023 with a bang, the Red Hot Chili Peppers took the stage as the festival's main headliner on Sunday night, led by the dynamic Anthony Kiedis. Despite his left leg rocking a walking boot, the lead singer's spirit was unwavering as he ran, jumped and danced across the stage. The boot didn't stand a chance against his relentless energy, ensuring a fast-paced, electrifying headlining set.
