With her first album in four years set to release this June, Lorde is making a full-fledged return to music this fall on the "Ultrasound" tour. On Thursday morning, we found out that it will include her first Milwaukee visit in seven years.

Thursday's announcement included a 38-stop tour, spanning the U.S. and Europe. She'll play UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Friday, October 10th. Indie act The Japanese House and electronic artist Empress Of will support Lorde on the tour stop. The tour does also feature stops in Chicago on September 19th and Minneapolis the night after she plays Milwaukee.

Earlier this year, Lorde announced that her fourth studio album, "Virgin" is set to release on June 27th. Single "What Was That" is out now, and was premiered via a snippet on Instagram and a party in New York City's Washington Square Park that was shut down by the NYPD. The new album is her first in four years.

Lorde's last stop in Milwaukee was in 2018 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on the "Melodrama" world tour. She had previously played the BMO Pavilion in 2014 on one of her first U.S. tours. Following the release of "Solar Power" in 2021, she announced that she was going to take a considerable amount of time off before returning to touring.

Presale tickets for Lorde at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena through Ticketmaster will be available starting May 14th, at 10 a.m. The public onsale begins Friday, May 16th at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster, as well.
