Louise’s, the longtime California-style Italian restaurant on Cathedral Square, will close its doors later this month.
The restaurant, which opened at 801 N. Jefferson St. in 1994, will offer its last dinner service on Saturday, Aug. 25.
According to marketing manager Tina Lawler, employees were notified on Monday of the fact that the restaurant would not be renewing its lease at the Downtown location. She says they have also scheduled meetings with interested employees to discuss opportunities at other area locations, including Water Street Brewery, the Harp and Trinity Three Irish Pubs.
If you’d like to pay a final visit, Louise’s hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
