Chicago’s Lowcountry seafood boil restaurant will open its third location at the former Bar Louie site Downtown at 1114 N. Water St. on Monday.

Owners Pan and Dana Hompluem announced the new location in September.

"It was a long time coming, but we finally have our business license in hand and are ready to share our delicious seafood boils with Milwaukee," says Pan Hompluem.

"Can’t wait!"

The restaurant serves seafood boils in a setting that is bright and lively. I toured the space and wrote about it last autumn.

Stay tuned for a closer look at the restaurant from Lori Fredrich when it has opened next week.

In the meantime, Lowcountry will be open Monday-Thursday, 5-10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 5-11 p.m.; and Sunday, 4-9 p.m.
