This weekend, Luci – a women’s boutique for women of all ages – celebrated a soft opening at 215 W. Florida St. The boutique was originally Downtown and in Mequon, but had been on a four-year hiatus.

On Thursday, May 6, Luci will have an open-to-the-public grand opening party with complimentary cosmopolitan martinis, appetizers and a live DJ.

According to owner Clai Green, Luci’s location and timing are impeccable.

“Women are ready. They are tired of shopping online and they want to get out and touch, feel and try on clothing again,” says Green. “And Florida Street is the perfect spot. There’s a dense population of women here and surrounded by wonderful restaurants, lounges and hair salons.”

Green also co-owns the recently-opened wedding and event venue, The Mitch, on Historic Mitchell Street.

Luci Boutique will host a “Sex in the City” night on the first Thursday of every month, also with cosmo martinis and apps.

The hours of operation will be Wednesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. Clients may reserve the store for a private shopping experience on Mondays, Tuesdays or before or after the shop is open on the other days of the week
