Midland is coming to the Midwest this fall, as The Rave announced the country trio will hit the stage on Friday, Oct. 29.

With case numbers staying relatively low and vaccines still churning out, Milwaukee's concert venues are beginning to fill again with hope – and fill their schedules with upcoming acts. That includes The Rave, which last week announced its first concert – Machine Gun Kelly on Oct. 5 – since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic more than a year ago.

The Texas-based trio of Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy broke onto the country music scene in 2017 with its debut single, "Drinkin' Problem." The song would go on to score the group two Grammy nominations – Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Song – in 2018. They will be joined on "The Last Resort Tour" by special guest Hailey Whitters.

Tickets for Midland's Rave show will go on sale at the band's website on Friday, May 7 at 10 a.m. And stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for hopefully many more concert announcements to come.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
