The brand new Miller Lite Landing offers Brewers fans a different vibe and view than anywhere else in American Family Field. Located on the stadium’s loge level in left field, almost underneath Bernie Brewer's brand new chalet and twisting slide, it feels like a patio in the sky with a panoramic view of the grass-framed diamond.
The spacious, two-level area focuses on the social aspects of game-going, with a private bar, mix of tables and row seating, large viewing deck with flat-screen HD televisions, and close proximity to food stands and restrooms.
Other perks include charging stations, a seven-foot Brewers logo made from Miller Lite cans that’s Instagram perfect and – at some of the seating – drink rails with chilled drink holders.
Sound fancy? Kinda is, but The Landing is also casual, kid-friendly and affordable. Tickets are $25 and include a $10 gift card for concessions.
Thanks to the openness of The Landing, it’s ideal for families with children of all ages. We met an infant attending his very first baseball game, a little boy with a Brewers-blue mohawk and numerous mitt-wearing kids hoping to catch a ball tossed into the stands by left-fielder Christian Yelich. ("Over here, Yeli!")
The Miller Lite Landing is also a great spot for larger groups who want to mingle while enjoying the game.
This was our first Brewers game since before the pandemic and so, naturally, we craved classic baseball food and drink fare: sausages and beers. (Popcorn and peanuts will have to wait until our next visit.)
The sunny afternoon featured an air of nostalgia. It was the final game of “80s weekend” at the ballpark which meant free Paul Molitor bobbleheads at the door and totally tubular tunes on the speakers. Girls really did have fun at the Miller Lite Landing today, and the fact the Brewers flattened the Rockies 5-0 made it a particularly bodacious "first game back."
