The weather forecast is absolutely perfect for the penultimate Milwaukee Night Market (75 degrees and no rain).

When and where is the Milwaukee Night Market?

The free, outdoor street party is happening on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., on West Wisconsin Avenue between 2nd Street and Vel R. Phillps Avenue.

The Market features over 100 local vendors, artists, performers and more. This month, the Market has a special "College Night" theme, sponsored by Milwaukee Area Technical College, Enerpac Tool Group and Milwaukee Brewers. College Night offers new students and those returning to Milwaukee-area campuses the opportunity to explore more of the city and experience performances, support local businesses and participate in a scavenger hunt for the chance to get a free Night Market T-shirt.

“We are always excited for an opportunity to introduce a new audience to the Westown neighborhood, and College Night is the perfect way for area students to get a taste of life off-campus,” said Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Association. “We hope the Night Market will serve as a catalyst, not only for students, but for all visitors to become regular patrons of our downtown neighborhood.”

Night Market Vendors

A variety of local businesses will participate in the event, including artists, restaurateurs and makers. Plus, five Madison-based vendors will make their debut at the Milwaukee Night Market on Wednesday following the participation of select Milwaukee makers that vended at the Madison Night Market last month. This vendor exchange was driven by a partnership between Westown Association, Madison’s Central Business Improvement District and Hoan Group with the goal of promoting regional collaboration between the state’s two economic drivers.

Night Market Entertainment

In the Educators Credit Union Entertainment Zone, DJ Breezy will bring the beats, Taylor Flows will perform with fire and more. Check out the full lineup here.

The Plaza Pop-Up is also back this month at the northeast corner of Vel R. Phillips Plaza where attendees can sing tunes at the Bars & Recreation mobile karaoke suite and grab a draft beverage from the Draft & Co. vintage beer truck. See full details on the special activations at here..

Night Market Parking & Street Closures

Thanks to Interstate Parking, Market attendees get a special $3 parking rate at The Avenue structure (entrances at 615 N. Plankinton Ave. and 258 W. Michigan St.). Guests should also consider using ride-share services or public transit, such as The Hop and MCTS to travel safely and responsibly.

West Wisconsin Avenue will close at 10 a.m. for event set-up at Second St. and Vel R. Phillips Ave., along with mid-block closures on North MLK Drive between Wells Street and West Wisconsin Ave.

The final Milwaukee Night Market of 2025 will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, as a make-up date for the July Market, which was canceled due to severe weather. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for further details in the coming weeks.
