Due to the severe weather forecast for Milwaukee tonight (July 16), the Milwaukee Night Market has been canceled.
“After carefully monitoring the forecast over the last 24 hours, we have ultimately made the decision to cancel tonight’s Market,” said Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Association. “The safety of our vendors, performers, attendees and staff is our main priority, and unfortunately, the severe weather forecast poses challenging conditions for an outdoor event."
Westown Association has reserved Wednesday, Oct. 1, as a make-up date. Further details on the rescheduled date will be shared in the coming weeks.
“We understand that this cancellation greatly impacts the vendors who have spent their time and resources preparing for tonight’s event and were counting on sales from the thousands of attendees expected to attend the Market. We encourage the Milwaukee community to support these vendors in other ways today by visiting their online or brick-and-mortar storefronts,” said Megan Kujawa, Marketing & Events Director for Westown Association.
