Mitten Fest returns for its 10th anniversary, and this year, it's moving the outdoor winter party to Boone & Crockett, 818 S. Water St., in the Harbor District neighborhood. Mitten Fest formerly took place outside of Burnhearts, 2599 S. Logan Ave., in Bay View.

Currently, B.J. and Jess Seidel, who own Burnhearts, are on a year-long, world-wide adventure with their children. Whether the festival's relocation is a one-off or a permanent move is yet to be disclosed.

Regardless, Mitten Fest is one of Milwaukee's most sucessful outdoor winter events and we're here for it.

The fun takes place Saturday, Feb. 3 from noon to 8 p.m. in the spacious outdoor patio at Boone & Crockett. Live music, art vendors, food trucks, specialty beers and brandy slushes are all in the wintery mix, per usual.A portion of proceeds will go to The Hunger Task Force.

Boone & Crockett and the adjacent event venue, The Cooperage, will also be accessible to Mitten Fest goers with full bars and restrooms.

Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for a line-up of musicians and more info in the near future.
