One of the high points of summer is strolling down Wisconsin Avenue on a warm Wednesday evening at the Westown Association's Milwaukee Night Market. The first of four Markets is quickle approaching, and here's what you need to know:
- The Milwaukee Night Market runs on West Wisconsin Avenue between 2nd Street and Vel R. Phillips Avenue.
- It occurs four Wednesdays this summer: June 11, July 16, August 13 and September 10 from 5 to 10 p.m.
- This year, there will be 220 participants, including local vendors, small businesses, artists, restaurateurs and makers.
Attendees can expect to see new and returning vendors throughout the summer, including:
- Twisted Plants – This long-time vendor of the Night Market is a fan-favorite for plant-based and vegan eats.
- Refresh Vintage – Located on the lower east side, Refresh Vintage’s collection of timeless clothing and accessories will be featured during the July 16 Market as part of this year’s “Retro Rewind” theme night.
- Happy Accidents by Lex – A self-taught artist who creates Bob Ross inspired landscape oil and acrylic landscape paintings on canvas and wood.
- Chelotzin – Participating in their third season at the Night Market, this Latina-owned business brings a beautiful selection of indoor plants.
- HoneyBee Sage Wellness & Apothecary – An herbal beverage cafe located on N MLK Drive combines the unique concept of an apothecary, tea cafe, and alcohol-free craft cocktail lounge.
- 414 Milwaukee – A staple of the Night Market, this streetwear brand is dedicated to celebrating the people and the communities of Milwaukee.
- golden gracie co. – Pet owners will be excited to see this new vendor providing high quality, easy to wear and stylish pet accessories.
- OnMilwaukee - We'll be at the Night Market too! Look for our red tent along Wisconsin Avenue and be sure to say hello!
