You get a live summer music series announcement! And you get a live summer music series announcement! And YOU get a live summer music series announcement! Indeed, along with today's Washington Park Wednesdays and Chill on the Hill lineup reveals – not even including the West Allis Summer Concert Series announcement from yesterday – comes a duo of summer music series lineups courtesy of Lake Park's Musical Mondays and Wonderful Wednesdays.
Both beginning in July, Musical Mondays and the family-focused Wonderful Wednesdays will bring a wide variety of music genres to Lake Park's summer stage, found near the lakefront green space's playground. Both nights will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the Monday evening shows going until 8 p.m. while the Wednesday performances will wrap up around 7:30 p.m.

- July 12 – Main Street Song & Dance Troupe
- July 19 – Duke Otherwise

- Aug. 16 – Ms. Jen and the Jellyfish
In case that wasn't enough lakefront live music, Lake Park will also host a special night of opera with "Mozart in the Park" in collaboration with the Florentine Opera. Hosted on Wednesday, July 5, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., the Florentine Opera's summer studio ensemble will perform famous scenes from some of the composer's most iconic operas. As with the two live music series, the opera night will be free to attend.
