If you're in need of movies and TV shows next month – and knowing the typical weather outside, assume you'll be in need – March is your lucky month thanks to the newly announced list of fresh arrivals headed to Netflix.
Even though it'll be grey and sad outside, you'll have plenty of reasons to laugh with comedy classics like "Big Daddy," "Easy A," "Animal House," "The Hangover" (yay!) and the two "Hangover" sequels. (Less yay.) And while the Academy Awards will take place on March 12, it'll be Oscar season before and after that with awards' favorites "Carol" and "Out of Africa." As for something that SHOULD have won Best Picture, "Magic Mike XXL" will also slink its way onto the Big Red Streaming Monolith for those who don't want "Last Dance" to be last at all.
Valentine's Day is long past, but if you're still feeling the love, the rom-com classic "Sleepless in Seattle" will swoon onto the service to start the month. And as for the opposite of romance, the zombie actioner "World War Z" and the Riddick trilogy will punch their way onto Netflix as well. Speaking of blood-pumping content, there's also ... a whole bunch of workout videos and exercise tutorials coming to the streamer too. Sure, why not? Can't be any worse of a decision than that creepy dating show where people were dressed like dolphins and monsters.
And that's before we even get to the Netflix Originals for March – which include the second half of the new "You" season, a new season of "Love Is Blind" (already?!), documentaries about PornHub and the MH370 plane disappearnce, and the star-studded sequel to the Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston hit "Murder Mystery." But forget sequels, because the big comedy news coming to Netflix is something new: its first live-streamed stand-up show courtesy of Chris Rock.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
