The first segment of the "OnMilwaukee Minute" will air during the hit television show, Making The Grade (MTG), Fri., Feb. 21 at 12:30 a.m. on WB 18. The show repeats the following morning at 11 a.m. on UPN 24.

MTG, hosted by Don Hoffman, explores teen issues from sexuality to academics and is filmed at MPS' Lincoln Center for the Arts, on Milwaukee's lower East Side.

The theme of this week's show is "expressing yourself" and the "OnMilwaukee Minute" will tie into the concept with a segment about local thrift stores. Both Milwaukee's Yellow Jacket and the North Avenue Value Village will appear in the footage.

The "OnMilwaukee Minute" is hosted by OnMilwaukee.com writer Molly Snyder Edler. "This is a dream come true for me," says Edler. "I am able to combine my love of writing with my love for the limelight! I'm having a great time working with the MTG staff."

MTG is produced by Marquette grad Kimberly Schwandt, and videographer Erik West who recently won an Emmy for his work on the program.

The show was originally watched primarily by teens, but recently has attracted many adult viewers and parents who appreciate the insight into today's teens' thoughts and feelings.
