Fans of "Parks and Rec" and Netflix's "Master of None" got a nice surprise Wednesday as The Pabst Theater announced that Aziz Ansari was dropping by Saturday night for a live show to work out some new material. But apparently the surprises weren't over, as this morning, the comedian added a second stop on his Milwaukee visit: a bonus club show at Turner Hall Ballroom at 9:30 p.m.
Much like the earlier 7 p.m. Pabst Theater show, no cell phones will be allowed at the Turner Hall Ballroom set. All cell phones and smart watches will be placed in lockable pouches upon entry, and any patrons caught with devices out during the show will be immediately ejected, so Turner Hall recommends leaving your phones and devices at home or in the car.
Tickets for the Turner Hall club show are on sale now at the Pabst Theater Group's website. There is a six-ticket limit, and purchases are will-call only, with valid ID required to claim one's seats.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
