The Packers sent a contingent to Canton, Ohio, to celebrate the induction Reggie White into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Quarterback Brett Favre and long-snapper Rob Davis, along with several front-office executives, football operations staff and executive committee members, departed Green Bay early Saturday morning and arrived in Canton at approximately 9:30 a.m. The Packers hosted a private brunch, where the traveling party was able to spend quality time with White’s family, including his wife, Sara, and children, Jeremy and Jecolia. At Sara’s request, just prior to the family’s departure, Favre posed for a picture with Jeremy.
Former Packers general manager Ron Wolf and several of White’s former teammates, including Sean Jones, Bruce Wilkerson and Santana Dotson, also were present at the brunch.
When the speeches began to run long, the contingent returned to Green Bay in order to be on time for the team's Family Night scrimmage at Lambeau Field. According to a team release, the White family was aware of the possibility of an early departure.
