For the eighth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Locavore, the newest restaurant at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2014."

Pizza Man will open a second restaurant in The Mayfair Collection, the new mixed-use retail, residential, restaurant and hotel development in Wauwatosa. 

The current Pizza Man is located at 2597 N. Downer Ave., which re-opened in July 2013 after the original location, on Oakland and North Avenues, was destroyed by fire.

Construction on the interior is planned to start in November with a grand opening scheduled for spring 2015. The 5,600-square foot restaurant will be located east of the Corner Bakery Café. The restaurant will seat 200 diners and will include an outdoor patio, similar to the East Side location.

The menu at the new location will be similar to the flagship location, with some modifications. Executive Chef Zachary Baker will oversee the menu at both locations.

"I’m grateful that many of our customers have stuck with us for so many years, and especially through the re-opening of our East Side location," says owner Mike Amidzich.

"I’m humbled by our customers’ response, and I hope the new west side location will provide those who have moved from the East Side to the western suburbs with more of an opportunity to enjoy the Pizza Man experience."
