If you're looking for a place to watch the most exciting two minutes in sports, you'll be glad to hear that Potawatomi Bingo Casino is off to the races this Saturday, May 4.

The casino, 1721 W. Canal St., will show the 139th Kentucky Derby, in its smoke-free Off-Track Betting Room as well as in its 500-seat Northern Lights Theater.

The Betting Room opens at 8:30 a.m. and the Northern Lights Theater opens at 9 a.m.

Spectators can join in a hat contest, where fashion-forward guests will compete for cash prizes. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and participants must have a valid photo I.D. and a Fire Keeper’s Club card to enter the contest.

The first place winner will receive $300 cash with additional cash prizes awarded to second and third place.
