The Great Milwaukee Summer is HERE! Your guide to what you'll be doing, where you'll be drinking, who you'll be hearing and how you'll be getting a sweet tan this summer is on OnMilwaukee. The Great Milwaukee Summer guide is brought to you by Educators Credit Union and Harley-Davidson Museum

Going to the Pride Parade on Sunday? The OnMilwaukee Love Bus will be there with staffers and friends (lightly) tossing pickles into the crowd.

Wait, what?

It's true:  The OnMilwaukee Love Bus, a vintage VW Bus decked out in rainbow glory, will join the parade and members of the OnMilwaukee staff will give out Van Holten’s "Hot Mama" and "Big Daddy" pickles in a pouch to parade goers who yell "Pickle me, OnMilwaukee!" (Ahem.)

"We are happy to donate 16 cases of Hot Mamas and Big Papas for the parade," says Van Holten’s president, Steve Byrnes.

Step-off is 2 p.m. and the route is about a mile north on Second Street, from Greefield Avenue to Seeboth Street in Walker's Point.

The theme of the parade this year is "The Future is Ours" and 150+ organizations will participate this year.

The Pride Parade has rolled down 2nd Street for 15 years and prior to that was located Downtown. The move to Walker’s Point made sense for social and historical reasons. The parade was originally operated by Pride Fest, but later became its own not-for-profit entity.

So sparkle up and get to Second Street, Milwaukee, for fun, frolic and free pickles!
