There are few things as enjoyable as closing out a Thursday workday with a saké tasting and conversation in a gorgeous, rooftop environment. Thus was my sitch yesterday, when I got to sit down with Tarik Moody, DJ for 88Nine Radio Milwaukee and self-described "sake scholar," to sample three different types of sakés and learn about 3,000 percent more than I already knew about the beverage.

Wanna learn more about the ricey, refreshing world of saké? Moody is hosting three events this summer at the Skyline Bar + Lounge on the top floor of No Studios, 1037 W. McKinley Ave.

The June and July events are sold out, but spots remain for the August 19 tasting. Go here to find out more.

Check out these Facebook Lives where Tarik schools me – and gets me pretty buzzed – on saké.
