While the Vans Warped Tour may be returning, but only to select markets this year, Milwaukee fans will be able to embrace some of the tour’s mainstays later this summer.

On Tuesday, Simple Plan announced their 25th anniversary tour, labeled the “Bigger Than You Think!” tour. They’ll bring along fellow pop punkers Bowling For Soup, indie sleaze-meets-scene act 3OH!3, and LØLØ for a run of amphitheater dates that last from May through September. That will include a Thursday, August 21st stop at the BMO Pavilion on the Summerfest grounds.

The first half of the tour will be supporting Avril Lavigne, while the portion of the tour that will roll through Milwaukee will feature Simple Plan as the headliners. Lavigne and Simple Plan played the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in 2024, and the band previously also played the Amphitheater opening for Sum 41 in 2023. If there’s an unspoken pact between all of the Canadian pop punk acts, we’re seeing the benefits of it. The band’s last headlining set in Milwaukee came at the Eagles Ballroom in 2022.

Tickets for Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, 3OH!3 and LØLØ go on sale this Friday. A Live Nation pre-sale starts Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. using the code DUET, while the general on-sale begins Friday at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
