Because it sold out so quickly, the Sleater-Kinney performance on Sunday, Feb. 15 has been moved from Turner Hall to the Riverside Theater. Tickets go on sale today at 12 p.m.
Milwaukee is just one of 13 U.S. cities on this reunion tour and demand was very high. Sleater-Kinney will release "No Cities to Love," its first album in 10 years, in January.
Sleater-Kinney became popular in the '90s "riot grrl" scene and features Carrie Brownstein from "Portlandia" on guitar and vocals.
Fifteen years after Sleater-Kinney played Milwaukee’s The Globe, fans will finally get a chance to see the band live again.
