The Great Milwaukee Summer is HERE! Your guide to what you'll be doing, where you'll be drinking, who you'll be hearing and how you'll be getting a sweet tan this summer is on OnMilwaukee. The Great Milwaukee Summer guide is brought to you by Geis Garage Doors and Peoples State Bank

Lodi dodi, Snoop's here to party.

On Saturday night, West Coast hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg will take the stage to kick off Potawatomi Casino Hotel's "Amplified" music series, in the first of three summer concerts at a temporary stage on the casino campus. With yet another entertainment option added to the array of things happening at Potawatomi Casino Hotel, there's definitely going to be some questions. So if you're looking for where to go to party with the Doggfather, or just looking for the nearest Gin & Juice, we've got you covered.

When is the show?

The night kicks off with VIP doors opening at 7:30 p.m., followed by general admission doors at 7:45 p.m. Music starts at 9 p.m., so make sure you're in the venue by then for maximum Snoop D-O-double-G.

Where do I go?

The concert will be held in a temporary outdoor venue just west of the casino, in former Cargill lot. The expansive 127,000-square-foot area provides ample space for all attendees. There is free parking available in the parking garage connected to and south of the casino. Inside the venue, there will be a selfie wall for fans to capture the moment.

If you're catching a ride to the show, you can also enter "Potawatomi Casino Hotel - Concert" as your destination on a ride sharing app, and it will drop you off at a rideshare parking lot located south of the outdoor venue.

Is it a free show?

No. A limited number of tickets are still available at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel website as of Friday morning.

Will there be concessions?

There has to be Gin & Juice, right?! Yes, the outdoor venue will feature a Gin & Juice tent, with samples of Snoop and Dr. Dre's joint alcohol venture in Passionfruit, Apricot, Citrus and Melon. Guests can purchase RTD (Ready to Drink) and beer wristbands, each good for five beverages. Wristbands can be bought in advance at Potawatomi Provisions, located on the second level of the casino. Additionally, Zócalo Food Truck Park will be providing a variety of food options around the concert area.

Re-entry and restrictions

Guests can come and go between the concert and the casino, but they must get stamped by security for re-entry. Food and beverages must be consumed within their respective areas, so you cannot take items from the concert into the casino or vice versa.

Is it all ages?

While you don’t have to be 21 to attend the concert, those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The venue has a strict bag policy: only single-compartment bags, purses, clutch purses, drawstring bags, diaper bags and medically necessary items are allowed, with a maximum size of 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches. Multi-compartment backpacks and bags are not permitted, and all bags and purses are subject to search. Weapons are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Guests under 18 are not allowed on the property unless accompanied by an adult and are prohibited from participating in any gaming activity. They can, however, travel through a gaming area to access a non-gaming venue, as long as they're accompanied by an adult.

If Snoop Dogg's 2019 appearance at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater was any indicator, Milwaukee is in for a party with one of the kings of West Coast hip-hop (turned multi-hyphenate entrepreneur). Don't miss your chance to get Amplified with one of the Big Boss Dogg this weekend.
