"The Today Show" announced Sprecher Brewing as the winner Friday of the national "Most Deserving Small Business" makeover contest, sponsored by Entrepreneur and Xerox.

The Glendale-based brewery, which hosts its annual Sprecherfest this weekend, was chosen based on its need for new décor and technology, along with its charitable efforts within the community.

Sprecher wins an entirely redesigned workplace and the design services of Thom Filicia, the interior design specialist on the Emmy-nominated show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." Filicia will visit Sprecher on Saturday morning to launch the makeover.
