The fifth day of Summerfest 2025 kept the energy sky-high on Milwaukee’s lakefront with another jam-packed schedule of incredible live music. From guitar-driven indie pop to crowd-hyping rap to nostalgic rock singalongs, Friday’s lineup offered a little something for everyone. The American Family Insurance Amphitheater was buzzing with fans eager to see The Killers later in the night, but even before they hit the stage, there were plenty of must-see performances lighting up the festival grounds. 

As the sun set and the beer flowed, fans could be seen bouncing between stages to catch both rising stars and longtime favorites. Whether it was catching a moment of acoustic vulnerability with singer-songwriter Isabel Dumaa or throwing their hands up to Offset's late-night vibes, it was one of those nights that proves why Summerfest continues to be the World’s Largest Music Festival.

Isabel Dumaa

The rising singer-songwriter brought heartfelt lyrics and infectious melodies to the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard stage. With her guitar in hand and a warm smile, Dumaa made it clear she’s one to watch.

Cold War Kids 

Cold War Kids perform at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater for Summerfest 2025X

Opening for The Killers at the Amphitheater, Cold War Kids delivered a dynamic and soulful set that got the crowd on their feet early. Their signature sound felt right at home on the big stage. 

Offset 

Offset performs at Summerfest 2025X

Despite running a half hour late, Offset made sure the wait was worth it with a high-energy headlining set. Dripping with charisma and backed by booming production, the Migos member closed out the night in true superstar fashion. 

1900Rugrat

Florida’s 1900Rugrat brought serious energy to the UScellular Connection Stage. With hard-hitting beats, the young rapper had the Milwaukee crowd hyped from start to finish. 

Plain White T’s 

Plain White T's perform at Summerfest 2025X

It was hard not to smile (or sing along) as the Plain White T’s delivered a nostalgia-filled set at the Generac stage. Yes, the crowd screamed every word of “Hey There Delilah.” 

Motion City Soundtrack 

Motion City Soundtrack performs at Summerfest 2025X

Pop-punk fans got their fix when Motion City Soundtrack headlined the Generac stage with a set that felt like a love letter to the 2000s. From the first synth note to the last chorus, it was pure emo joy. Read more about the show here.
