Throwback acts at the BMO Harris Pavilion? That's the way (uh-huh, uh-huh) Summerfest clearly likes it for this year's edition as the grounds stage's retro-leaning lineup today added disco legends KC and The Sunshine Band as its Fourth of July headliner, as well as vintage R&B crooner Charlie Wilson as the main act on Thursday, July 2.

The two shows join a BMO Harris Pavilion lineup that currently includes Steve Miller Band, Styx, Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies and Psychedelic Furs.

Reserved tickets for 13-time Grammy nominee (and yet somehow never winner) Charlie Wilson will go on sale on Wednesday, March 18 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com and in person at the Summerfest box office. An hour later, at 11 a.m. on March 18, reserved seats for the "That's the Way (I Like It)," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" and "Get Down Tonight" hitmakers KC and The Sunshine Band will go on sale as well at Ticketmaster and the Big Gig box office. Meanwhile, as with the rest of the Summerfest BMO Harris Pavilion shows, bleacher seating at both concerts will be free and available on a first come first served basis.

For more Big Gig updates and announcements – after all, there are still two more main stage headliners and the rest of the grounds stage acts to come – stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
